New Directions Please bear with me. Though I was accepted into the shows listed in the news section to the right I have chosen not to appear in order to focus on new methods and modalities.
For some time now, and even though I have won awards and accolades for my work, I have been working on revamping my encaustic repertoire to present images that are more in line with my personal vision and sense of expression. I am still working in landscape mode, but without the encumbrances of focusing on realistic or pseudo realistic representation. I am seeking an overall consistency of form, color, and process utilizing the inherent textural possibilities that encaustics offer.
Having the exhibit "Moore In the Gardens," in town has certainly inspired me.
